I've been more subtle by agreeing that trump is loud and obnoxious but then I say I'd rather have him than hillary the liar. If people ask me if I like bernie I say yeah but his tax plan is shit. Usually I point out how people like single mother doctors working 60 hours a week will be taxed 59 percent under his dumb plan. There's the hatred of the wealthy and wealth inequality by Sanders and other socialists, yet without the revenue generated as a part of the free market and that wealth inequality then such socialist programs would be impossible.
That was Hayek's main criticism of socialism, that it seeks to destroy the very mechanisms that allowed the wealth to be created that it wishes to redistribute.
What has Sanders contributed to social programs compared to what Trumo has contributed, by default Trump through paying taxes and employing people has done more for the poor than any of these socialists ever have
