weirdest christmas tradition we have on tv is a czechoslovakian/east german fairy-tale movie from the 70s. dubbed in norwegian, where one man does all the voices.

During the seventies some socialist politicians wanted to remove Donald Duck from swedish television because they thought it was evil american cartoons.
Before 1991 there where only two channels on swedish television because the government had a monopoly. There where however some channel that got around the monopoly by broadcasting from the UK. Which caused some politicians from the social democrats to propose a law making satelite recievers illegal. This law never got approved
