The entire ideology, much of it if not all of it rooted in Marxism, is based on victimhood and making us "whole." No one can be better than another, no one can have more money, no one can have an advantage, no matter how superficial or major. They hijack all facets of culture to subvert it and selfishly inject their ideology into those facets to create tension among the proletariat.
Notice how higher authorities are typically the ones who organize and do the proletariat's thinking for them.

In and of themselves they produce nothing but "analysis" of things that already exist. It's not even a matter of them being mean. It's just that they literally cannot do anything else as feminists.
Since they can't build anything and since analyzing something in such a way that the only thing you end up saying is "things are fine as they are" isn't gonna feel like they're accomplishing anything (it's not gonna be reported either) the only thing you're left with are "take down" of things which were created by somebody else.
We can argue whether or not those things which they are taking down are actually worth destroying or not but my argument is that, regardless of the answer, it's the only thing they can do. They're more or less forced into that position (by themselves).

95% of SJWs are not ideological, most probably have no idea who Marx was. SJW-ism comes from two impulses common among Millennials:
1) To get back at Mom and Dad for making them dress up and go to church.
2) To be the Hero of their own life's movie. The only problem is, all the real fights for civil rights have already been won. So now they have to pretend that the lack of representation for Trans-mayonnaise otherkin is a struggle on the level of the fight against Jim Crow.

I think so. In all areas you encounter them they're a lot more obsessed with obtaining control of existing systems and organizations than building their own. To be honest, I suspect they're just generally control freaks and social justice just happened to be the first thing they infiltrated. I don't really think they do what they do in pursuit of social justice, feminist utopia or global socialism, infact I think it's the other way around - they adopt various causes to be able to keep doing what they want to do. Their stated goals are in fact means while the means they claim are necessary are in fact real motivation.
