Basically what you want to do is this.
Armor:
Basically any books you can find, and any pillows as well, tape them to yourself. Then have the shield.
Weapons:
It would probably be best to use either the Metal Club or Base-Ball bat, the Taser might be too strong, and in the end if they die it would evolve into a chimp-out on your house, you want anything but that. Never aim for the head, that would result in a kill hit and result in the aformentioned Chimp-out. Use the BB Gun at first, fire a single warning shot, if they don't run, then just fire a couple shots at them and try to non-lethally subdue them.
Tactics:
Cameras. Just get a single camera (Buy it if you have the money) and place Bait Bike in any position assuming the camera is watching it. (Preferably in front of house, so if they try to break and enter you have proof)
PRACTICE with the BB gun, if you can hit a single teen in the balls, the rest will probably run due to fear factor.
