The spread of Christianity was essentially the precursor to Communism. It was the first ideology that glorified the weak, lowly, stupid people and told them they actually had higher worth than the smart and wise people who had done great things. Paul admitted as much in Corinthians that nearly all the first Christians were stupid and generally had a lacking in 'worldly wisdom'. (But don't worry that doesn't actually matter) :^)
Just like all communist ideologies, this concept spread like fire among the plebeian Roman mass to the point where they became a political tool. Constantine then leveraged the Christian mob and used it to take over control of the Roman empire via mass appeal. There is in fact a lot of evidence that Constantine wasn't actually a Christian since he never abandoned his pagan ways. He just used it as a tool for political power, like all religions.
From this point on Christianity was spread by the sword and politics. Local kings were offered political advantage if they adopted Catholicism. One of the requirements of doing so was to outlaw all native religions at punishment of death or exile. By this method, the subversive Christianity took over Europe. It's almost exactly like what we are seeing in Cultural Marxism today.
It should also be noted that all the 'barbarians' who sacked Rome were actually Arian Christians.

Christianity was never popular among the masses but among soldiers for the afterlife promises, despite every oriental cult offered the exact same thing. Constantine wanted militar power. In fact, when Christianity was admitted as the religion of the Empire, there were needed mass conversions, persecutions to other cults and to become Rome into the center of the Christian cult, what started the nonsensical myth of Peter dying on Rome.

I find it weird how all you atheists always seem to ignore the fact that the cucking of the west is very recent and it percectly correlates with the rise of atheism.
It's not Christianity that cucked the west, it is Atheism(agnosticism).
When you do not care about the ultimate question, then that apathy will spread to other things. When you do not care which one is right and who is wrong, then everyone can be right. If everyone can be right than your Christian neighbour and Muhammed on the other side of the planet is equally wrong or right.
Apathy spreads, it spreads to culture and people.
