Saturday-Sunday: Bacon, Sausages, baked beans, poached egg, hasbrowns/buttered toast, black pudding, sautéed mushrooms and freshly made glass of juice (preferably blueberries for antioxidants or Welch's grape juice) .

It's something I've noticed too. While excellent food exists as microcosms in the US, reverence for food or the dining experience in general as a culture-wide thing just doesn't exist here. So while some enthusiasts may take BBQ or brewing beer or whatever very seriously and observe its proper creation and consumption to the letter, food in general in the US seems largely unimportant.
I think American cheese is the best example. It's not actually cheese. It's a cheese flavoured gelatin. There's no reverence for it.
