The nation is the family. The nation exists so that each member may carry on the family DNA. Some have to die to protect the others, but they do not die forever because their genes are safeguarded by the rest of the nation. The only reason anyone cares about anyone else is because they believe that persons genetics should continue. This is the basis of altruism, and the basis of the concepts that lead to National Socialism.

Nepotism plays a big part, but it can't explain everything. Like I said in another, some races have genetic predispotions to certain behaviors. Whites try to help themselves and those around them. Blacks try to become entertainers and get the most resources with the least effort, but spend recklessly. I'm not a particularly authoritarian natsoc. If you disagree with the nation and can convince others you are correct, you should be heard. I personally believe in direct democracy national socialism, where opposing views are welcome, but leaders are not elected, but chosen randomly, and unelected in disaster. Finally, most natsoc supporters believed in the armed citizenry, who vote with their guns.
If your genes are undesirable, you should be removed, but personally, I believe there is a level of uncertainty when it comes to evolutionary advantages. I would conserve your genes unless they expressed themselves in wholly negative ways in both you and your progeny.
If you're family is dead you should grieve. They are the closest to you and it is only natural. If you cannot go on without them, you are free to take your own life. Either with benefit the greater altruistic gene characteristics of the country.
