>Option A
Trump gets the nomination, the voter base is happy, but he ultimately loses the general election.

>Option B
Cruz gets the nomination, Trump voters are angry causing the GOP to potentially lose voters, but Cruz actually has the potential of picking up nationwide steam if he has strong debates against Hillary.

>Option C
Kasich gets the nomination, Trump and Cruz voters potentially refusing to vote, but he will win the general election if they all unite in November.

Which option does /pol/ prefer?
>>
Cruz will be annihilated in the general. But he will not drive as many Democrats to the polling booth as Trump would.
>>
Trump will sail through the general election with ease. However, to win the nomination Trump will be forced to give Kasich the VP slot.
>>
>>71004835

>Trump will sail through the general election with ease.

Trump could show Hillary skype logs with the Benghazi attackers and still not beat her in the general.
>>
>>71004276
Cruz has absolutely no appeal to people outside of states with big fundamentalist Christian populations. Honestly Cruz is the worst choice by far.

john pls go

Hillary won't make the ballot in New York because she took bribe money from the Trump organization. She can't win without New York.
>>
>>71004276
You also need to factor in Clinton and Sanders.

Can't see any of Sanders' supporters voting for Clinton or Sanders backing her.

Can't see the blacks or Mexicans voting for Sanders. Being told to vote for him will probably piss them off.
>>
>>71004276
Its cute that there are those who still think if Republicans go to a brokered convention they'll give the nom to Cruz or Kasich.

The thing that drives me crazy is that the GOP could win the general election easily based on turn out if they would just stop doing everything they can to shit on their candidates

I know, ridiculous. Paul Ryan will get the nomination.

"no"

More than likely, or maybe Romney? It will be really funny if they give it to Jeb

oh god my sides
just wait till the paid protestors start going after him. Also I doubt "kill the gays" will help him gain nationwide support.
>>
>>71005837
The only two who can win the nomination are Cruz and Trump.
>>
>>71005957
It will only be Trump or Cruz unless someone literally kills Ted Cruz.
>>

Had a thread last night about turnout since 2000.

2000 had more Republicans turnout and 2004 had fewer Dems turnout in the primaries.

Same for 2008 and 2012 for the Republicans.

Who could blame Republicans when McCain and Romney were the nominees.
>>
>>71005599

Soros wants Hillary to win.

Hillary is crushing Donald Trump in the national polls.

The RNC isn't going to piss off its entire constituancy and give the nomination to somebody that won one state or didn't participate in the process.

Kasich stealing votes hurts Cruz, not Trump.

Shit's pretty straightforward
>>
>>71004276
I'll vote for bernie before i vote for those other two butt puppets
>>
>Cucks think that Sanders hasn't won the nomination already

Lol retards. My newsfeed is filled with people attacking Trump and praising Bernie and I'm from fucking Austraila. Bernie is universally liked while Trump is universally hated. Clinton is in the middle.

Just give up already, Trumplets.
>>
>>71005707

Hillary can actually win without New York as long as she carries Virginia and a few other swing states.
>>
>>71006232
You have a newsfeed. You are therefore misinformed.

Hillary's super delegates beg to differ. Bernie will lose the nom because the DNC is literally the most corrupt political organization in America, and then Hilldawg will lose the general.
>>
>>71006232
>Bernie is universally liked while Trump is universally hated.

Well, one is on the way to losing and the other on the way to winning.
>>
>>71006232
Most people won't publicly show their support for Trump.
>>
Anyone that thinks Cruz has any kind of chance of beating Hillary hasn't been paying attention. Debates will be a massive screaming match and mud bath, Cruz doesn't have the balls or resources to do both, Trump does
>>
>>71006232
I didn't think there would be people who base their worldview off their newsfeed.

I mean I guess I knew, but wow.
>>
>>71006427
Exactly, SJW are the primary populace of those feeds. Showing any kind of support for Trump will end with death threats and rally's at their front doors

It's never been about winning. It's about burning all these fucking lawyers to the ground.

This is where the post falls apart. A slimy dominionist biblefag with a personal history the media is waiting to seize upon has no mainstream appeal.

>>
>>71006449
Well it's not just my newsfeed Switzbro.

Bernie has won 7 of the last 8 contests.

In head-to-head polls he is beating Trump by double digits.

He is raising money like crazy and beating phone banking records.

And he might win NY, if he does he will the nomination for sure.

I don't want any of this. He is a Jewish cuckold socialist but burgers deserve him. They've been flooding my country and the West with their leftist propaganda through their movies and nigger music and they deserve to be cucked bad.
>>

So for the past 6 months Sanders and his supporters have been railing on Clinton about being bought by banks and corporations they're suddenly going to support her?

Just check out Reddit, they say they won't vote for Clinton, most likely not even vote

It will be even better if it gets to the convention and Clinton gets the nomination,
>>
>>71004276
>Kasick wins in general election
He only wins because Cruz, Kasick shills rig the polls, and because people would rather have a random citizen as president than Shillary

No one wants to vote your pastor president.
>>
>>71006699

Americans care about money more than anything else. Normally I'd agree with you, but a 10% income tax starts to looks very appealing when Hillary falls apart.
>>
>>71006807
Because the US deficits, both trade and budgetary, are both financial tools used to spread the dollar all over the world.

Balancing the budget would end the US hegemony over global capital markets.

Trump picks up the anger vote. Close election but still loses to shillary.

>Contested GOP convention
Trump runs as independent, splits the GOP vote, sinks the party in the GE. Whoever runs as Dem is irrelevant.

>Trump vs Sanders
Oh boy, 4chan vs Reddit. Dems don't want to vote for outright Gommunist, flip to Trump. Trump wins.

>WILDCARD OPTION: Shillary indicted
If the FBI get their shit together and the AG actually charges Hillary, this is the end of her campaign (lol jail). Even better if it comes after the nomination. Hilarity ensues.

I wouldn't trust that shyster

Compare pic to the 2008 Republican primaries with only 20.95 million votes

In 2012 they had 18.5 million

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/republican_vote_count.html

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/republican_vote_count.html

So far this primary season we still have sixteen states left and 21 million have already voted.

In 2000 Republicans had more voters in the primaries. 2004 was incumbent Republican and had fewer Democrats turnout

>Cruz actually has the potential of picking up nationwide steam
Because the crossover appeal outside the RELIGIOUS conservative base in the general election, for a WHACKO DOMINIONIST, is what exactly? Look, Cru fanatics have this fantasy that if they just position a method actor like Cruz on a national stage, the country will magically become Religious Conservatives. Or maybe you tell yourselves that the mainstream "just hasn't heard of Cruz yet, and if they do, they'll fall in love with him". The reality is that everyone has heard of Cruz, Trump, and Clinton at this point. The reason he doesn't have Trump's lead is because he has ZERO crossover appeal; Trump's success is more independent, democrat, and mainline conservative than religious base. The religious right has been on the decline; the last time they had power as a voting bloc was in Bush's first election. That's just not the core of the potential conservative voters out there anyomore, a demographic that contains as many dissafected, alienated democrats as it does independents and moderate protestants/catholics/jews as it does hardcore fundies.

But fundies will NEVER give up the dream of electing Jesus to the white house. You clowns have been the pawns of the RNC for over 30 years now, voting again and again while the promise you the literal resturn of Christ, but you just keep getting FUCKING JEWED for Israel and the same international finance billionaires that donate to the Dems. It's way past time to fucking wake up realize you are in a war with the Left, and you're going to have play a stretegic game to get votes from the middle. Or else you get nothing. With Cruz, you get Jewed once more, and experience you WON"T LEARN FROM, like you didn't learn from all the ones before it.
>>
>>71006833

Yeah it's hard because there are so few data points and technology and culture are moving so fast. In the more democratized age we live in, primary turn out may very well be correlated to election turn out.
