Can't afford rent in California.

Apartments and houses are too expensive for anyone with an entry level job to afford. Guess who mostly works entry level jobs? Young millennials out of highschool.

Combine this with useless meme degrees and now even the college educated can't find jobs to even pay off their student loan debts, much less also pay for rent/mortgage, and utilities.
>>
To save money.

Because everybody lives at home. Where ever you live be it a mansion, a trailer, a tent, or a box is home. You fuckin' retard.
>>
>>71004063

I live at my wifes house.

She told me one day you dont make enough money so I said then you go out and fucking earn more. Well she did it guys. She earned more. So I quit my job and she supports me.

I work out constantly and tell her I need to stay home to protect the house from invaders. When she asks if I ever plan on working again I just tell her "all my time training will pay off one day and you will thank me. This is the role of the man to be a warrior and protect you. The Jews tried to convince me work was the manly thing to do to keep my mind preoccupied so we dont wake up and figure out their end game. Well I figured it out honey this is my role"

She just rolls her eyes and walks away.

I'm 29 years old and live with my parents still.

I don't have any shame about it. What's funny is how people act like renting with strangers is so much better than living with your parents. How is it any fuckin' better? Shared housing is shared housing.

You're either a piece of shit who cannot afford his own home, or you own a house. Those are the only two options. One is pathetic; the other isn't. All shared housing is fuckin' pathetic, not just the people who live with their parents.

The same reason life exists on earth
The large number of specific conditions allowed for it to be so. Prosperity, lack of war/problems, anf overprotective authority are the few obvious examples. But I'll shed some light on it from my own perspective. I've lived it, my friends have lived it, acquaintances have not been spared and people's stories here, from around the globe, I can relate to even more so.

There are those of us who have a Japanese level of reverence for the family unit, but cannot form our own. What constitutes family? Your neighbour can call you his brother, but you know when push comes to shove that he'll expose himself to being full of shit. Traditional families are bound by blood. A wife and husband themselves are linked by physiological processes, a covenant, and the offspring they bear together. If she is not your wife anymore, she is still the mother of your child (Hopefully it's your child you fucking cuck). What better recourse could a social creature have? It's team that functions as a psychological and moral sanctuary. No matter how times tough get, you have family to see you through who won't turn their back on you especially for stupid shit reasons.

Short of physical abuse I've seen how bad it can get with mothers who grew up for survival in a communist satellite state with parents who lived through the horrors of WW2. It shows highly intelligent and loyal women can have family issues they will bring into their new one. Even through all the dysfunctional shit, that is less fun to watch outside of a first-person perspective, family remains most cherished of values. Having a normal happy family can remedy deep voids that serve little more than vials for repressed anger.

Yet you look around today's culture, you see the role of the state in weakening family, the hedonistic faggots who hide their ugliness behind banners of equality and social justice, the vulgar masculinazation of women who happen to be drunk on power.

I'm living at home over the summers in college, staying in a dorm while I study, and then renting an apartment as soon as I graduate. I will save money while I am single, work hard throughout my 20s, and get married and buy a house in my 30s.

The exact same as my father did.

What most of you millennials don't realize is that unlike my father or his father, working as a policeman or a mechanic isn't enough to live a comfortable life anymore. Hence why I am studying a non meme tier degree (Mechanical Engineering) and staying with my parents during summers to keep costs down. It's not hard, you're all just stupid and afraid of working hard.

The idea that once you're 18 you should immediately move out of your parent's house and waste money on rent or get into debt buying property is a Jewish scam, meant to break down family ties and drain your wealth off to the pockets of societal leeches.
So the better question is why do you not live at home with your parents/siblings/grandparents on a large familial estate which accumulates and grows wealth ensuring your descendant's comfortable position and freedom from wageslavery?

1. Lack of financial support and abundance of jobs in my area

That's all just the tip of the iceberg in today's society. You really don't see how bad it gets until you've had your go at long-term relationships and see how frightening similar your experiences are with many others. I can only imagine the full horror of the dealing with even a diet-sociopath during a modern divorce, and not hard to run into one to a cunt chameleon these days. All the while your children are greatly influenced by the environment, which consists of other degenerates, pop culture, and ultimately the state: version current year. Have you ever experienced fear from losing control during a family crisis? Do you want to bear the psychological burden of familial situations you cannot prevent and are powerless to stop? Working hard toward being betrayed by the ones you love and being divorce-raped sounds like a healthy future for the white race?

So what do we really have except the only family we have and is the best we've seen. Why jump off a cliff hoping there's a trampoline below? Because unsophisticated Americans/Canadians will boast about evicting offspring who don't agree to be overcharged for rent and then salivating over the day they fight their siblings for shekels? In the end, social pressure isn't enough to run face-first into a tornado.

No, I'm pretty sure what they want is to be taken care of by family instead of isolation while they enfeeble and eventually abandonment in a nursing home.

33 year old Male caregiver from San Diego California. I clock in 270 hours a month at minimum wage, roughly 65 hours a week. I make $2,600 a month after taxes.

There is no way to rent a house (or non-ghetto apartment) in San Diego with prices being what they are.

One friend rented a house splitting it 4-ways and they each pay $800 a month and that house is packed with 8 people (all four have girlfriends).

So, yeah, not moving out to pay a landlord $2,000 a month rent.

PS: I would get a ghetto apartment 30 miles inland in the city of Escondido, but what even is the point of that? 30 miles away from friends and job.

I'm 30 and live with my gf's parents. I though we'd be able to move after my gf finished going to school to be a hairdresser, but she's stuck making minimum wage.

The sad thing is that I dont have a GED and make twice as much as her. I have no yearning for prestigious locales because I was homeless a decade ago for a few years.

Failed to mention while it's alright where we are right now, charging $700 for a 10x10 room is a little depressing as her mom doesn't work (muh disability) and spends the funds we give her to buy frivolous shit like hula hoop supplies a day $20 hats for her dog.

Jews.

3% inflation means your savings are halved in 23 years.
>>
I'm 29 and live with parents but have $45k in bank. Have lived a few years away but moved back after my last employer went out of business. I'll probably buy a house soon Mr shekelstein since I think I'm ready to move on but it hasn't been that bad. The biggest downside is telling people you live with your parents.
>>
The only downside is what people might think if you still live with your parents late into your 20's. Otherwise you're saving up a fuckload of money and Grammy still cooks you delicious food every night.
>>
>>71013198
There's nothing to save up as half of my wage id spent on rent alone.

Moved out when I was 18, moved back in when I was 26 because jobs stopped being a thing. Wennt to school got a degree. Now i'm 31 living in moms basement. Waiting till I get 150k in the bank before I start looking at houses. It will take me maybe another 2 years to save the rest of the money

it's good that i'm a wog then (serb australian) because the stigma of living with parents doesn't exist in our community. In fact it's encouraged.

Just remember that the only people making fun of you for living with your parents are probably doing shit on their own and are just trying to compensate it by telling others how shit they are for living with family.
