NC fag here. The civil war wasn't over slavery you fucking autists, it was over states rights. The south understood how wrong slavery was, it was just the best thing for the economy. Approximately 1% of the south were actually wealthy slave owners. The rest were poor farmers that lived in the south. Just like how the north used children essentially as slaves in factories.
