I do think healthcare costs in America are way too fucking high. I remember in high school, I got a pretty bad nosebleed and got sent to the hospital since it wouldn't stop after like 15 minutes which then they're required to send you there.
Nosebleed stopped naturally like a minute or two after that and they just asked me some questions and sent me home. Got the bill in the mail for around 400-500 USD or so for them to do nothing. Health insurance paid for it but what the hell is that shit?

The 2nd amendment gun right was conditioned upon a well regulated militia.
As such, gun rights are necessarily subject to reasonable regulations.

Libtards do not understand the Constitution is not the same as the bill of rights. It is an outline of powers granted to the federal government, it does not outline freedom or rights to the people.

To be fair, the US constitution is one of the documents that helped to establish the language of law and many of the rules of the English language. There weren't really many formal spelling or grammar rules before then. Americans were the ones to begin codifying those and our founding documents were the baseline of that effort.

That would be true, however at the time and in the current year, the Constitution does not outline, grant, or condone any Rights to anyone.
People get this confused, but its not giving anyone a Right, its saying that it is a Right, self-evidently, and the Federal Government shall specifically never create legislation against these things.
In the proper context, it doesn't really matter if it isn't clear. its very clear that the whole of the sentence content shall not be legislated against.

Depends on your needs. If you're just interested in general home defense, an AR15 or AK. I'd recommend going to /k/'s AR general for some recommendations for cheap rifles (personally would recommend Palmetto State Armory).
If you want something smaller or want to get involved with concealed carry as soon as possible, a handgun would probably be next on the chopping block.
Or if you have land available and just want to go shoot shit for fun, get a Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun. It'll cover home defense well enough.
Just whatever you get, put the time and effort into training yourself to use it properly. Know that weapon like it was your own hand.
