The most important thing you should remember is that Federal Reserve is Privately Owned.It is a Private Corporation and has shareholders.
This create a lot of cognitive dissonace amongst paulbots who want to end the fed but also claim private property is sacrosanct. Been here 4 years, and I have seen more than once libertarians trying to ignore this aspect of fed.

It doesn't create that much cognitive dissonance once you realize that it is a private entity that was publicly chartered by the government to supposedly serve a public function. It has control over the money supply. Nobody should have control over that.
