Because our retarded government, instead of actually doing something about the 2008 financial crisis, created ANOTHER bubble, this time in tech, to give the illusion that the economy was doing better. It's not. And when the tech bubble crashes (It's already starting, see Buzzfeed slashing revenue projections) it's gonna come down even HARDER than the 2008 crisis because this time the government is 20 trillion in debt and has no money left to bail anyone out. I've lived in the southern US for all my life. Haven't really seen the issues discussed here on this site escalate around here. Not many SJW happenings go on in these parts. Most people are pretty reasonable and rational. Currently in the process of redpilling this girl who immigrated from Mexico.
