Notice how Louis C(uc)K always gets the biggest laughs when he says something that's considered really offensive. It's because that's the point when he touches upon some uncomfortable truth.
Right-wing comedy thrives on that. Leftists have to dance around it and just poke at it, while making excuses about how they're just joking.
