What is your stance on donating blood?
I do it regularly but it kind of disturbs me that blood stations are allowed to sell blood components to pharmaceutical companies. How is it moral to sell those component when victims of accidents always need blood and there is always not enough blood for everyone?

Blood goes bad, retard, and they don't always have a need for blood, nor can they ship it cross-country.
They sell unused stock to cover the cost of operations so they can be there when the need is great.
Also, don't donate during disasters unless your local blood bank is asking for blood. They usually get WAY TOO MUCH and can't use it all before it expires.
