Could you please explain why maintaining a healthy balance sheet for your business makes you "owned by big banks"?
>>
>>70915190
same reason cruz getting a loan for his senate run and paying it back makes him owned by goldman sachs, i have decided to follow the trumpeteers lead into baseless claims.

Except Cruz is the establishment candidate and shills for the big banks.

There's a difference between doing business as a businessman and being shady as a politician

And if you ask me, it was wasted money too. Cruz was almost as bad as Rubio.

>>
>>70915666
He can't even understand the difference between a loan and a donation.

Cruz takes big donation money from donors who he has to pay back if he wins with political favors.

Trump self funded, the only thing he has to pay back is loans with interest.
>>
>>70915837
Because Cruz also got campaign donations from big banking families?
>>
>>70915837
Campaign loans and business loans are not the same thing.
>>

So he isn't an establishment candidate because he's being used by the establishment to steal votes from a non establishment candidate

A loan is a loan because it is lending with the obligation to pay it back, which Cruz has done. If it was a donation you would have a point but not everyone is super-rich so they can't finance themselves out of pocket. Which means they have to take loans or recieve donations.

"Cruz, who attended Harvard Law School, isn’t one to trade too heavily on old school ties and friendships at the likes of Goldman Sachs, where his wife works. On the campaign trail, the Texas senator has railed against Wall Street “crony capitalism,” ripped giant banks as “too big to fail” and wrapped himself in populist garb in his quest to take down Donald Trump. >You do realise he can't win outright, but he can steal enough delegates from Trump that it goes contested

He can not do what you are thinking. If Trump wins enough delegates, 1237. Those Delegates are bound to him for at least the first vote in the convention. That means come first vote at the convention, there will be 1237 votes cast for citizen Trump and he will become the nominee.

What Cruz is doing that is being called, "cheating" is having his representatives go to delegates and say:

"Look I know you are bound to candidate x,y, or z for the first round of voting, but I think you should vote Senator Cruz when you become unbound, and here is why...."

Now I realize that you are probably young, and most likely some form of shut-in. But even in today's modern media landscape lots of times real people have real face-to-face interactions with other real people and try to convince them or persuade them of something. This is normal and part of any free and open society.

Now you are free to continue saying this is "stealing" delegates or votes, but I must say I really only expect this type of Orwellian Newspeak from people on the left, not people on the right.

>Interpreting a tongue in cheek turn of phrase as "Orwellian Newspeak"
You're really grasping at straws, aren't you mate?

Look, I know you're probably very emotional about all this mate, but it's okay. I didn't mean "steal" in that sense. I meant that Cruz can get enough 1st round bound delegates to prevent Trump from winning the 1237 in the first round.

This is why the establishment is supporting him. They want him to help them prevent Trump from winning first round so they can then backstab Cruz and pick who they want. My point was not that Cruz was cheating to get delegates- that is a separate conversation entirely.

>This is why the establishment is supporting him. They want him to help them prevent Trump from winning first round so they can then backstab Cruz and pick who they want.

The rules of the republican convention as is, specifically rule 40b, prevent the scenario you are imagining. Rule 40b requires that only a person who has won a majority of the delegates from at least 8 states or territories, can be eligible to be voted on as the nominee for the party. This is only Trump and Cruz.

In order for rule 40b to be changed it must be amended by the convention rules committee. The convention rules committee is comprised of 56 men and 56 women, one of each from each of the 50 states and 6 Federal territories. These delegates are chosen by the respective delegate pools of each state or territory.

Going into the national convention we are looking at a scenario where a majority of the delegates of each state and territory other than and handful will be either Trump delegates, Cruz delegates, or some combination thereof. This means that a majority of the delegates on the convention rules committee should be either friendly to Trump or Cruz.

I am 100% confident that the Cruz campaign has the organizational skills and competence to ensure it's friendly delegates are convinced that maintaining rule 40b is a good idea.

Can Trump manage the same feat? If so then neither Trump nor Cruz have anything to worry about. But given his campaign's utter lack of ground game up to this point I am not certain he can. Granted his recent hire of former Scott Walker aide, Rick Wiley is a strong nod in the right direction. But the previous people he has hired have incompetent. For Trump's campaign's sake, and frankly for Cruz's I hope Wiley can actually build up an organization in enough time.
>>
>>70919063
oh here is a link for the recent hire.

If you could get that gig, you'd be getting fucked in the ass tomorrow for not posting the shitty blurry version.

You posted the one were any asshole can read that those are mortgages. Not illegal, undisclosed, signature loans used to finance his campaign.

Since a shockingly high percentage of voting Americans have mortgages and none of them think they're the tools of their mortgage holder, you fucked up.

If this is the best Applied Memetics has to offer, it's no wonder that the Dealey Lama laughed for 23 minutes straight when I asked him if he thought they could be a threat.
>>
>>70919063
Huh. Looks like I was incorrect on that point. Fair enough.

>>70919301
Actually I believe I addressed that point already.

It's been 30 minutes since you said you needed sleep, mate. You're coming across as a new level of buttmad at this stage.
>>
>>70919063
What will rick wiley do with all the offices and staff trump has already fired? Nothing says gearing up for the general like shutting down your organization.
>>
>>70919467
Sorry my sleep habits are causing you so much consternation.
>>
>>70919505
I certainly can't speak for Rick Wiley, but I imagine Rick Wiley would prefer to start his own organization from the ground up, rather than build off of Donald's/

While I generally don't like argument by analogy imagine it like this. Trump hired his previous guys to build a house for him. The house is about 80% complete, but it is utter shit. Nothing is even, floors are slanted. wiring is a byzantine mess, half the plumbing doesn't work etc. Now Trump sees this finally, and decides I need to get someone who knows what they are doing and hires Rick Wiley. Wiley comes in and tells Trump, look I can try to fix what you already have but frankly it will easier and faster and you will get a better house, if we just tear all of this down and let me start over from scratch.
