Some groups came up with a bullshit computer simulation of the collapse where they basically worked backwards to try and figure out how to make the whole structure collapse - not from looking at the actual evidence in the debris, which was all melted down/dumped ASAP with investigators prevented from getting any access - but rather from the "official investigation" which said it happened x way, and the simulation then had to prove it happening x way.
Officially, the collapse of the WTC buildings magically started a fire in the basement of WTC 7. This fire just so happens to hit a huge fuel tank in the basement and becomes a raging inferno that somehow, quite astonishing really, gives off pretty much no smoke yet manages to melt and destroy a single support beam that then, amazingly, causes the entire building to collapse pretty much instantly. If you look at videos of the building, the fire you see is actually entirely constrained to an upper level floor, rather than the basement, and is only one a single level, with windows blown out only on that level, like explosions went off for that floor only.
The 2001 attacks were planned and carefully executed demolition jobs. WTC 7 is the smoking gun for a lot of the circumstantial evidence around the larger WTC buildings and the other plane crashes that all point to this fact.
There was an absolutely massive shilling campaign online and in the media trying to make anyone and everyone who didn't believe the official story to be a 'conspiracy nut'. The WTC buildings had like a 5x redundancy factor. Even if the top part of the building was taken out by the plane + fire weakening the beams, only the top would collapse onto the bottom and nothing would have been flattened, it would have possibly slid off the top and that would have been a huge thing too. But there's no possible way a plan slamming into the top of the building can literally pulverize so many bodies and parts of the building into thin air. You need bombs for that.
