Nah that's easy as shit, I lived spending about 20 a week on food for a while, that shitty ramen is 33 cents each, beans are cheap, and chicken is best protein. Assuming 2000 calories, a week's worth of ramen is only about 13 dollars. Supplement that with chicken or beans, and it becomes less money. 3-4 pounds of chicken run me about 10 bucks. You won't be too healthy, but it's certainty do-able, and I didn't even do it out of necessity. I had money, I just wanted to buy vidya instead.
