Drones (and most other modern weapons) would be useless in a civil war type of scenario. These things require multiple hours of maintenance for every hour of operation, and rely on a steady stream of spare parts that come from all across the country. Ever since WWI, the US military has based its entire strategy on the certainty of having an untouchable industrial base at home and secure supply lines to wherever the fighting is happening. We have weapons systems right now that include parts made in every state in the union. The absence of just one of those parts could ground an airplane.
Even a relatively localized uprising would leave our military's high-tech capabilities crippled within a fairly short period of time.

Women are going to school and people always try to speak English when they meet an American instead of always relying on an interpreter.
