It's absolutely hilarious at this point. This "news" comes after FSA basically ceded a stash fulla equipment to ISIS in North Aleppo. Which allegedly contained Stingers, a Rapier system and som Kubs.

I was reading that article, seems neutral. The protesters were destroying public and private property since day 1. And they were killing policemen and later soldiers. Also there were "unknown snipers" shooting at both police and protestors.

Obama and the Pentagon announced jointly today that ISIS is "reeling," on their heels, and naturally took credit for it. You'd almost think that the Kurds and SAA & Allies hadn't been the ones to push ISIS back at sometimes great cost.

But I understand. The SAA was near collapse before the Russians came in and in six months of strikes, training and equipment support completely changed the course of the war. That means anyone could have done it. That means millions of refugees would be in their homes right now. That means tens of thousands would still be alive.

But if you read nothing but the main news sources, you'd think this is all a magical Western intervention gone so right.

I honestly get a little depressed whenever I try to talk about this on other websites. People make all these stupid comments blaming Russia for the huge death toll. Not many people "really" cares about Syria.

The MSM controls most of the news because they have the most reach. If they don't really care about something, they'll just reach for the first thing they hear and stick with it.

I thought it was obvious.

My father thinks Putin is literally bombing civilians and that if Assad is gone, everything will be hunky dory. He only watches the BBC and CNN mouthpieces. Their opinions don't matter.

Ours don't either anyway. Just stay here, meme with us if you believe like us, make yourself feel better and then go back to living your life.
>>
>>70880621
>I mean we get taught in school about propaganda
The problem is that you are taught that only evil governments do that, and that we live in a country with "free" press that is neutral and unbiased. Schools don't teach critical thinking to see through the lies of the media.

Also it depends on the people's interest. I used to believe in the media even though my parents taught me critical thinking, because I wasn't interested enough to research deeply until last year, but at least I didn't went full retard shilling for someone without doing proper research.

>>
>>70880883
Maybe not unbiased but at least if you make a good point for either side people will sometimes listen to the argument rather than "muh civilians"
>>
>>70881530
No. Believe me, they won't.

The only people who would are those who already doubt the system.

To actually influence the majority opinion to /sg/'s view is to.... basically, win near majority in Parliament. A reversal in societal opinion. A revolution, you might say.
>>
>>70880883
Probably not 100% unbiased. But from all the places in the web, I've only found here that people backs up everything with sources, and refute the western propaganda with other sources.

In other sites you just start destroying their arguments with sources, then they don't provide other sources to refute yours, just call you names, say you russian troll or that you are getting paid.

I grew up when George Bush was president. At that point in time, questioning the government or foreign policy was always framed as something almost heroic in nature. So I just sort of got the expectation that this is what people were supposed to do. Then after Obama got elected and everything changed. Suddenly the exact same behavior was deemed racist. Now the only group allowed to question the President is fox news, which is, let's face it, fucking stupid and not worth watching.

Now I'm cynical as fuck and I don't talk about politics with anybody outside of /sg/.

Merkel seem to be the defacto head of the EU, I'm going by hearsay but it seems the EU is tightening its grip and smacking down any who disobey. To me, without the use of military force or economic sanctions, means they use sly and dishonorable tactics. basically they are smarter than they look.

Are you completely sure that the EU has no straight forward goal? They seem pretty damn sure about the refugee crisis and repeatedly subvert the people through mass media.

The SAA has no reason to break the ceasefire because it has benefited them greatly. It has given them a window where they can stop being so concerned about the other Rebels and go after ISIS instead which is why ISIS has gotten BTFO so much lately.

I'm more concerned about the rebels breaking the ceasefire and Assad will inevitably be blamed whether was the SAA or not.

>Syrian Army foils #Nusra infiltration attempt in northern #Latakia

https://twitter.com/TheArabSource

>The Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra” – backed by Jaysh Al-Turkmen and the Free Syrian Army’s “1st Coastal Brigade” – attempted to bypass the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses at the strategic mountaintop of Jabal Qal’at, resulting in a violent battle that only lasted for 3 hours on Wednesday afternoon.

>According to a field report from the northern Latakia front, the Syrian Arab Army’s 48th Special Forces Regiment was able to spot the extremist rebels trying to infiltrate Jabal Qal’at’s northwestern perimeter, prompting them to attack the opposition forces before they could make any headway in the Kurdish Mountains (Jabal Al-Akrad).

>The source added that 7 members of Jabhat Al-Nusra were picked-off by the Syrian Arab Army’s 48th Regiment before they frantically retreated towards the Aleppo-Latakia Highway (M-4 Highway).

Victory Day Approaches!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ8ixKYfJfk

The Russian Army prepares for the annual celebration of their victory in the Second World War!

>start an armed revolt in a country
>take over a region in a country
>force it to join you with a referendum
frankly, erdogan can learn a lot from putin
perhaps we should be siding with the russkis, then again their economy will collapse in 25 years when they run out of oil

our helicopters in Syria equip with "President-S" and "Vitebsk" systems against MANPAD.
>>
>>70896689
Anywhere to read up on those? Wikipedia just spouts the boring "general public" sort of details.
>>
>>70896830

>>70875946
Last thread had a pretty decent discussion and several links. Worth checking out.

I posted that link. I was asking about the President-S and Vitebsk systems, specifically. Wiikipedia just says they're some "ECM" without going any further.

Why does that man have a dog on his head?
>>
Good Morning /sg/
>>
>>70898060
No idea maybe they're trying to associate him as a king or something? That kinda looks like a throne to me
>>
>>70895206
I have become diamonds, destroyer of wombs
>>
>>70898158

I suppose the more important question is: Who is he? I don't recognize him.
>>
>>70898158
He's probably talking about the mini-nasrallah on the bottom right.

Maybe they're trying to point out that he's iran's dog or something.
>>
>>70898060
>dog

Dogs are looked down on in Muslim culture, but the Persian Zoroastrians really like them. So by putting the dog on Nasrallah's head, they're insulting him.

>>
>>70898337

That's a good point. I always see dogs in a positive way so I didn't see the metaphor. I thought maybe they were implying that maybe he fed somebody to dogs or something.
>>
>>70898305
It's Hezbollah' Nasrallah, right?

Is there seriously anything Arabs like?

They dislike everything from what I can gather.

They hate skin, they hate art, they hate drawing faces, they hate cats, dogs and pigs.

They hate loud music, they hate using instruments. Hell last week some soccer player in Saudi Arabia got a mid match haircut because his fro was un-islamic. Jesus fuckimg Christ.

>>

they like to fuck young boys and goats and kill in the name of allah

those are the three things you'll find in the whole Muslim world from Chinese Xinjiang to Morocco and is the reason everyone always hated muslims

You guys realize they're probably outright lying right? That's part of how they ensare naive westerners. They pretend to be normal online and then when you meet them in person BAM you're married to a guy 4 times your age.
>>
>>70898980

Tsukihime >>> Kara No Kyoukai
Garbage taste confirmed
As expected of Goat fuckers

Also, this >>70899061
But at least if they're going to ensnare us, the could've picked some better anime
>>
>>70899266
But Tsukihime doesn't have a ful length movie made by Ufotable when they still made good anime.

Just sayin'.

.

.

And remake never, by the way.
>>
>>70899370
I aint talking bout the anime boi
Ive played the eroges, Tsukihime was infinitely better in plot and character development
Also, way better sex scenes hehe
