Oh god I have the perfect thing for them. I have been creating a pretty detailed database of 4chan posters for the last 4 years, me and 3 other people are working on it just for fun really, didn't have any plans for it beyond our own amusement.
Basically we use a neural network to analyze all the data generated on 4chan to identify samefags, we use everything from posting certain versions of pictures to semantic analysis, to time patterns, personal info matching its quite refined after all this time. We have done controls with out own posts and we estimate that we are at ~75% accuracy depending on the board, which is pretty good damn good. We are working on expanding it to find out real identities and depending on the type of data we have on any individual poster it is quite easy to get a real name and find out what else they do online.

The Liability Tactic: Simply inform anyone considering investing in this project that there is a fair degree of high liability involved, and that publishing and shaming people online will lead to lawsuits. These lawsuits may even be driven by money hungry opportunists who set up the website for a fall. First by posting obvious bait, then by claiming that their "exposure" on said website caused them great emotional distress and they even experienced harassment IRL. The last part doesn't even have to be true.

I once filed a complaint about a guy at a hotel and he tried getting back at me. He used my personal information to sort of reverse doxxed me to find online accounts I have. He went into my OKCupid profile and copied a bunch of my question answers and anonymously forwarded them to my corporate office. My work didn't care and just gave me a heads up that it occured. He was stupid enough to go on my profile while logged into his account so it showed up on my visitors list. He was the only one who had looked at my profile in the last few days. I got him fired immediately after. Not sure why I am bringing this up but thought it was a fun story.
