After looking at the statistics provided by the forharriet.com site, black women are the most ENROLLED group by race and gender. The stats did not include performance nor fields of study. Also, the stats provide enrollment into all types of post-secondary education this includes 2-year and 4-year colleges as well as vocational schools.
One more thing, whites were not included in the writer's article. Black women outnumbered other minorities, but Hispanics were broken into two groups and Pacific Islanders were not mentioned at all.
