Though now it is looking more likely that he will pick up the nomination. He's going to sweep the north east which has considerably more delegates than any remaining state Cruz is doing well in. Also, once he wins NY, Cruz will probably no longer have the math to win.
It's stupid for Trump supporters to suggest they will fight Trump all the way to the convention. If he goes to the convention with the largest number of delegates and votes by a considerable margin, even if he doesn't have the max number needed, the RNC would be stupid to cause a civil war.
