The death camps were work camps to hold people before deportation(the actual goal of the final solution). They were worked to death and allied bombings disrupted supply lines to the camps which resulted in widespread lack of resources.

Evidence for the Holocaust is everywhere. Mass graves have been extensively documented, as well as mass crematoriums, body burning pits and the death toll of the Einsatzgruppen, which could be in the millions. There was ample opportunity for the bodies to be disposed of, and millions were.

I've always questioned the death toll, but that's not what bothers me the most of it. What truly bothers me about the holocaust is it's been heavily focused on to the point that the only people we're allowed to remember died are the Jews. The Nazi's killed millions of other people that had no connection to the Jews and they're essentially not noteworthy.

I didn't want to be a denier, but I have never seen any actual evidence that large numbers of Jews were gassed to death in chambers disguised as showers. I know /pol/ talks about this all the time, and I wanted to be a "total believer", so I have actually done my research. I've been to Yad Vashem in Jerusalem - there's no evidence of this. Plenty of evidence of other stuff (video footage of a Nazi shooting a Jew, etc.) but no evidence of gas chambers. I've also been to Dachau in Germany, and although there is a gas chamber there, it says right on the sign that it was never actually used. They did have areas where they would hang Jews to death and shoot them to death, they even had a crematorium for the bodies, but nothing about actually using a gas chamber.
So yeah, I believe everything except for that one thing, without evidence I have to conclude that /pol/ was right for now. Maybe somebody can prove otherwise.

No I actually know for a fact that my maternal great grandmother and maternal great grandfather were killed as well as a few great aunts and great uncles. My paternal side was not affected because most of them live in the United States; my paternal grandfather actually served in the navy during WW2. However, both of my maternal grandparents had to flee to the Dominican Republic while some of their relatives were not so lucky.
