I wouldn't call myself a heavy user by any means but often times I can quit cold turkey for school work or business. As of right now I went from smoking two bowls a day, every day to not at all. I'm a week in and have no urges. Finals are in two weeks and I don't plan on buying anymore until afterwards. I have also quit for up to two months for drug tests and finals for my previous three semesters.

Two weeks clean here. Used pot as a defense mechanism against my shitty attitude on life and my depression. First week was absolutely hell, because my underlying issues came rushing back to me - I wasn't numbed by weed anymore. Granted it's only been a short while but I feel fantastic, more clear-headed, and surprisingly much more optimistic and motivated. All of these issues stemmed from ME, and not pot, but smoking heavily for a long time as I did absolutely created a bad habit and psychological addiction/compulsion. I DO smoke cigarettes and am definitely addicted, but that's the next one to go. I drink 1-2 times a year and have never been stupid enough to go on the hard drugs. Stoners of /pol/, you may not have had a problem like I did, but being clean feels so fucking good...put down the blunt and address why you're getting high 24/7. It'll save your mind!
