i cook once a week. i would for example make 12 cottages pies (meat peas and potatoes) and freeze it it keeps well in the freezer for 3 months, so thats 1 dinner a week sorted.
also make steak and kidney pies, chicken pies, lasagne, loads of soups etc. make a big batch and freeze your portions. i cook once a week and never eat take out. also no food will rot if you do this.

Not him, but I've found that its best to cook in bulk. Start off easy; don't try to make a paella as your first meal. Do a roasted chicken, or make some chili in a slow cooker. Freeze large portions and have some variety. Spend a few weeks lurking /ck/, finding simple recipes. You don't need to follow them to the letter and chances are you're gunna fuck up a few times.
