The only female comic I like is Maria Bamford. She's funny and silly and seems like a cool person altogether.
The thing is, the best comics tell stories which happen to be humorous. To have stories about your life that are funny takes a lot of work. You have to put yourself out there, take risks, and have the right attitude in life. Male comics that are successful do these things and it's the reason people enjoy their comedy.
Women on the other hand are typically passive observers in life. They usually just go with the flow and just let things happen. They live a passive lifestyle where they simply cling to a strong man and hold on for as long as possible. This tends to make their lives much more dull in general and doesn't really set up any areas for conflict (and thus humor) which leads to dull stories that aren't funny.
Generally the only time women really take an active role in life is when seeking a partner. They go on dates and fuck and this becomes their only source of comedy aside from observational humor which often falls flat.
So all women comics are left with are jokes about relationships and dating and fucking. Now, there can be funny jokes about this, but since it's the standard for female comedians in general, the material gets old quickly. Once women run out of stories about that part of their lives, they realize they have nothing left to say. In a desperate bid for material, they turn to much cruder humor. Fart and poo-poo jokes, dirty sex jokes, and pandering to women in the audience who they want to connect with.
This isn't to say male comedians don't have flaws. They tell poop jokes and jokes that fall flat as well, and that's why they aren't as famous.
