That's why it isn't free in this country. Not everybody should be made to pay for a person's decision to invest in a degree. Trades are a perfectly viable career path that people look down upon. The only persom who should pay for a degree is you.
That being said, it's still education which is why our government prevents institutions from charging absurdly high fees and allows payment to be deferred. The vast majority here pay off their fees and that's thanks to the fact that only 20% of individuals ever go into university after highschools
