Trump was never planning on winning the nomination. He's been planning a third party run this whole time. He despises Republicans and Democrats both and plans on bringing both parties down. He's waiting until he gets shafted for Cruz. Once that happens and Hillary wins the Democratic nomination, he's going to drop bombshells on both of them and destroy them both at the same time, leaving him and his third party as the only remaining option for president. He doesn't just want to be president, he wants to change the game permanently and make history. All hail the party of lions.

Why would a billionaire want to do that?

It sounds like a good idea in theory. But wouldn't Trump running as independent turn away lots of republican voters?

Odds are Sanders will run independently so it'll be a 4 way

Trump and Bernie both have to run as 3rd party in order for Trump to win as a 3rd party.

>He despises Republicans and Democrats both and plans on bringing both parties down.
He's been a Democrat for the last 30+ years.

He despises what they've become. It's the same resson why my grandparents, who are southern democrates for life, haven't voted since 2001.
now this is autism, OP.
you've really outdone yourself.

This isn't even my final form.

I heard it's too late start an official 3rd party run. I can see this plan being partially successful if he was able to be on the national debate stage. Is that even possible?

But they haven't changed. Liberals, on the largest political level, have not experienced the same kind of shift courtesy of SJWs or OWs or whatever else is supposed to have altered as the GOP did with the Tea Party, and going back to before any of those groups, there's even less of a change.
Trump's political change of heart here is only to appeal to as many voters as he can. If there were a wave on the Democratic side of things that he could ride as easily and uncontested on to stroke his ego, he'd be doing it. This whole run is a means for him to pick his fragile self-esteem out of the gutter after decades of ridicule; he's got no actual intention to be President, let alone a clue how. This campaign is just more brand-building like everything he's ever done with his real estate and other companies.
It really hurts to see /pol/ become rabid drones for Trump in exactly the same fashion they lambaste Bernie supporters on Reddit or the chosen candidates of similarly idealized, naive, and cult-like followers of past elections.

Given Trump's antics over the past week, he probably thinks a "sore loser law" is something that's meant to help his raw behind rather than hinder it.
>>70801605
>a law which states that the loser in a primary election cannot then run as an independent
>independent
He wouldn't be an independent, he would have his own party.
>In most states, these laws do not apply to presidential candidates.
So it doesn't even matter anyway.
