Yuri Bezmenov was a former KGB defector for Soviet Russia. Bezmenov disapproved of the Soviet's system of government. In 1970 he eas defected to the west, called the American embassy and was granted asylum in Canada. He became an informant and a pro-American advocate.
Bezmenov died in 1993 under mysterious circumstances. The direct cause being unknown.

Honestly I thought Empire of Dust was going to be shit but it was really funny. Lots of laughs and you get a really good insight into the frustrations of dealing with Africans.
