I finally got off my NEET ass and got a job, and made a little over $30,000 last year. Entry level position.
I decided to claim myself (because fuck giving the government a interest free loan) and I have to pay in about $500 this year.
ALMOST ALL OF THAT $500 IS THE OBAMACARE PENALTY I HAVE TO PAY!

Yep that's what I've been doing. No issues so far. I even had some back taxes to pay for capital gains, so they were already aware of my shenanigans but didn't care about the insurance waiver.
