My mum 56 and works as a lawyer earning 6 figures working 4 days a week.
My dad is also a lawyer, 61, has been on 5 figures his entire life, and he works 5 days a week.
My mum is a lot smarter than my dad and works for a much better firm. Not even sure how my dad completed his law degree desu, my mum earns nearly twice as him and works less hours. Intelligence/IQ really does matter for your progression in a job, if you're not that bright you're never going to go that far.
