I listen to a lot of talk radio (I work alone and it fills the hours).
I go back & forth with both of them, but honestly this election has highlighted shortcomings. I actually stopped listening to Levin for the first time in years a few weeks ago.

Knowledgable on law & the Constitution. Unfortunately he is wildly disingenuous with history to make a point. The most recent example is his rants about tariffs, how they are all destructive. The man has the nerve to, in the same sentence, praise the founders for breaking from a confederation of states due to competing trade interests & then compare it to a few excise/import taxes in the 1900s that hurt the US. He fails to mention our founders supported & imposed a tariff (of 1789) immediately to protect our nascent industry and it was a success.
Levin stands on the shoulders of giants. His liberty based opinions, the stuff he pimps in his books, are all taken from others. Sometimes he acknowledges it but often he spins it like he has had this amazing revelation applied to current events. You'd be better of reading Locke, Bastiat, de Tocqueville yourself & drawing conclusions.
The most egregious fault I have is the fact his step-son is a staffer for Cruz, a candidate he rabidly supports. This was outted before he endorsed Cruz & he got vicious because he knew he was caught with a conflict of interest that he shouldve disclosed to his audience.

Levin, while having a serious credibility problem, is at least consistent. Savage is all over the place. If you listen long enough you hear him bash someone one week then praise them the next. (he hated Rubio then wanted him as Trump's VP)
Savage also tries to wax historic but seriously screws up. He simply doesn't do the historical research before speaking on a topic, often to underscore a point. Best example I have is his misunderstanding of FDRs policies

michael savage is big headed and talks as if hes the second coming of christ. He shouts out people with opposing views and puts words in their mouth before he cuts them off the air.
He also does these weird adds where he invites people on his show who talk about products and he talks back as if hes interested but its clear he is just acting. Not sure what hes thinking with that exactly but it weirds me out. He also has 2-3 callers who call him again and again over the course of a month who just praise him and say shit like "everything you say is true and you are the smartest man in talk radio!"
I still do listen to him once in a while though on youtube. but it looks like they are stopping the youtube broadcasts so thats probably that for me.
