I get a majority of my news from the global intelligence agency Stratfor. Stratfor is the shit. Governments and armed forces use it for their intelligence so it's good enough for me. Absolute solid geopolitics. Geopolitics explain almost everything, Anon. As for my country itself? I only read columnists like based Hitchens.

Whether people like it or not, when there's a happening, /pol/ is on top of that shit within moments. I come here mostly for news that I actually care about since nobody on /pol/ cares about the humdrum shit that Fox or MSNBC reports about.
As far as actually having good, reliable news sources; as long as they're not mainstream, they're much more likely to be reliable.
