Well, most Bernouts would argue that Bernie's reforms (free healthcare) would cut your expenses to the point that the tax hike won't matter. Obviously, that's bullshit, because of the expenses you listed, healthcare is probably the least of your worries, and really the only one that will be cut. Another reason to hate Bernie, though, is because of how much his economic reforms will hurt the value of the dollar. You might have 14k after taxes, and you might be really pissed about that, but you're going to be even more pissed when you find out that your 14k isn't even as valuable as it should be.
