Look at diamonds over there for instance. They are able to mine them ridiculously cheaply and then create an artificial demand by controlling the supply and saying shit like "Oy vey, you goyim need to spend 3 months salary to buy one of our diamonds or you don't truly love your wife!" to rake in cash.
