>Take on debt to get a degree in political science

Is it unreasonable to expect more from adults?
>>
What is the logic behind that? Is he a criminal?

Education is a right. That's why No Child Left Behind exists. You do not reserve the right to force yourself into private organizations, though. Public universities, maybe. Only in a socialist society, though and it would devalue your degree to nothing. That's probably why they're pushing so hard for Bernie. They think they'll get a free ride and a high-paying job.

>tfw no university debt

Right? I actually get payed to go.

Why?

>Education is a right
Kinda, but having to pay to attend college doesn't actually violate that right. Guns aren't free either.
>Student debt is a crime
It obviously isn't, but owing someone your future labor is arguably slavery. I don't like any proposed solution to student loan debt, but I would like to see some changes made to how they work. It is possible that a stance between "free collage for everyone" and "fuck off, if someone is getting rich there can't possibly be an issue" could be logical.

>Education is a right.

Go to a library, or buckle down and embrace the brunt of human knowledge at your fingertips if you want an education. People aren't entitled to a college education and I can't wait for this bubble to burst.

The more devalued the degrees become and the more it's exposed that these places have become leftist indoctrination camps for incapable children frightened into higher education by their idiot parents, the quicker it is to happen.

The massive student debt crisis and the behavior of Millenial leftist nutjobs in the streets this primary season is a blessing in disguise to dismantle the college racket.

I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks, college is way too expensive. Like, I'm doubting sending my own children to college at this rate.
>>
>>70745255
Yeah, we have 12 years of public education.

Well that's nice.

NCLB was a crime against humanity.

We need to stop compulsory education. All it does it dumb down education to try and lift illegals and niggers out of their self created and perpetuated ignorance.

You want to beat China et al on education? Stop trying to teach unwilling monkeys and focus on students that want to learn.

No Child Left Behind

It was a federal "effort" to improve education with more standardized tests and less money. The program redirected money from poor performance schools to schools that performed well. But because schools also tend to receive funding through property taxes, the good schools always had money and the bad schools just got worse. It also created a trend of "teaching the test" where standardized tests are emphasized to the point of exclusivity at bad schools, and they end up neglecting to teach anything useful like critical thinking and problem solving (which ironically would probably help their test scores more). The whole thing was lobbied by companies that make textbooks and testing equipment because supplying the materials for a national program is very profitable.

It's a right to go out and seek education and learn. It's not a right to expect others to teach you for free.
>>
>boo hoo the state won't fund my degree in animal science
Shut the fuck up, no-one is forcing you to go to unviersity so you can spend 7 years doing a PhD rather than serve in the army or do valuable blue collar jobs.
