Low birth rates in Western Countries.
It is a tough one to address because many women do not wish to have to manage both a career and young children. If they are to put their careers on hold for a decade or so whilst they have several children they will fall behind men. Quite seriously the only way it can really be addressed is through women taking a diminished role in the workforce.

I would argue that progressives aren't leftists anymore and are more like a competing religion. They believe in a sort of background morality that is absolute and true that they are advancing forwards through, they just don't have a godhead.
But it's still a "faith", a purely logic/science based philosophy can't have good and bad clearly defined when those aren't real physical things you can measure.

Which they should. Society was far better off when women were at home raising children and men were off working.
(a) Kids were being raised by their mothers, rather than expensive day care.
(b) A man was able to afford a house, a new car and holidays every year for his family while working a standard 8 hour day.
(c) Women were able to focus on raising children, managing the family budget, looking after the house and having meals prepared.
(d) Today, both parents get home tired as hell. They fight over who's going to microwave dinner, then they fight over who's going to do the choirs / help their kid with homework... before going to bed and just sleeping because they're both too tired to make love and be a couple.
What we're seeing in the world is a wholesale destruction of this western ideal to the profit of a few. People aren't getting married anymore, they aren't having families anymore, they can't buy homes anymore, they spend more and more time at work... why? Why can't we have what our parents/grandparents had?
