I used to hate islamic societies like saudi arabia because I thought they were backwards as fuck and oppressed women. Like, I though forcing women to cover up, not leave the house without their father or husband, not being allowed to vote, having no rights in inheritance and divorce, etc, was batshit crazy and horridly unfair.
However if you look at how far things have gotten in the west:

>the media, film, and culture is being polluted by feminism where everything that is not 100% pro-women is censored and you face backlash for speaking against women
>quotas are established to cuck qualified men out of hardearned jobs to make way for inexperienced women
Seriously, at what point does it go wrong? Is it even possible to have an inbetween line, or does giving even a small amount of liberty to women lead to this degenerate hopeless state?

I mean, to be honest, the one thing I agree 100% with Islam on is usury. Charging interest on loans is outlawed in Islam (and used to be outlawed in the Catholic Church). I'm having to really stretch to try to make sense of that.
Both Islam and Christianity have a lot of room between sects both 'conservative' and 'liberal' and with different meanings for those words in many cases.
I was born in the 70s, in red-state rural USA, I remember when I was a kid the best I know the only Muslim that had ever lived in the county was a guy from Ramallah that went to Uni there in the 60s and came back to visit once. But no good *christian* woman of my grandmas generation would go out in public without a scarf or a hat on her head.
I used to live near a Kurd-owned business, and got to know some of them fairly well, and they don't require their women to wear scarves, though scarves are sometimes worn. The way they explained it Islam and Christianity are the same. Islam says women should dress modestly. So does the Bible. What does 'modestly' mean though? That's kind of relative to culture. Arabs have a very conservative culture and they dress very modestly. Kurds less so, Americans even less so. Whether christian or muslim.
I'm not telling you Islam is the answer, cause I'm not Muslim and I would be if I thought it was. But I do think writing millions of people off as subhumans just because of their religion, which you don't even understand very well, is a shit-tier move.

Shariah has been turned into a way to scare the ignorant and get votes. Shariah can have almost as many different meanings as Muslims to explain it. In western courts, the only validity of Sharia is the same validity that is given to Halakah - when you have family or business relations between two Jews end in lawsuit US courts *may* (but not required to) apply the rules that the two actually agreed to.
