That's not how it works anon. In a standard approach you have your mom with 2 genes and your dad with 2 genes. Lets call one B for brown eyes, and L for blue. So your mom has LL genes, and your dad has LB genes, but B is dominant, so he has brown eyes. The probability of you having blue eyes is 75%. Why? Because there are 4 combinations of genes from your mom and dad. Only one of those B from your dad and L from your mom produces BL, which is brown eyes. So you had 75% chance of blue/gray eyes.
I don't think it's how it works with eye color, though. My neighbors both have brown eyes, and they have 3 kids with blue eyes. I think the eye color is a more complex issue than standard genetics. I don't know the details, though. I've read something a long time and it claimed it's developmental. I don't know if it's true or not.

Here in Europe it's fairly rare to see black eyes. Most are blue or grey. Some brown here and there, but it's mostly blue and grey.

I've lived 5 years in the UK. Blue eyes there are fairly rare and people would always comment on my eyes and how blue they are as if they've never seen a white guy.

It happens in males. Testosterone during puberty often causes the hair in males to darken. I had blond hair as a kid but now my hair is light brown. My eye color never changed they've always been blue.
