Jesus never hated anyone, especially because they were "rich." He hated the attitudes and deeds of most rich people, hence saying it was rare for a rich man to have a humble enough attitude to ask to be saved by him. Riches destroy most everyone's mind and therefore, ability to be saved. See the rich young ruler in the Bible as an example, who dared say that he had kept all the ten commandments since birth. Jesus wasn't a socialist, you Bernout. That's why Paul says if no one able works than they shouldn't eat.
