I'm contemplating whether or not I should join the priesthood (Catholic diocesan priest). They apparently don't have to take a vow of poverty, so it sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
I've been weighing the pros and cons, and this is what I've come up with so far;
Pros
>Free housing
>Free food
>30K a year (approximately) which I can spend entirely on booze and Pokemon cards
>I can be drunk basically 24/7
Cons
>No more fapping

I don't care about having kids or getting married, so that can be eliminated. What does /pol/ think? Good idea? Terrible idea?

I think you should talk to a priest about it. Becoming a Priest requires a bachelors degree, and a 3 year degree at a seminary, for a masters in divinity.
Why not get a degree in engineering or accounting, try having a normal life, and maybe going to the seminary part time. Once you finish that you can decide what you want to do.

I already have a BA actually. The additional studies, shouldn't be too much of an issue for me.

Well, I've been doing that, and I'm pretty bored of doing so. Also, I'm terrified of going to hell, so becoming a priest, will probably reduce the odds of perdition.
