We aren't really in any position to accept or not accept cultures at this point. Though I do think there is a generally more acceptable form of "racism" towards Asians in this country, but not necessarily directly from whites, but other ethnic groups.

Last I checked census data, Asian Americans were earning more per household, and have earned more advanced degrees than white Americans. Hell, foreign Chinese people are starting to own whole businesses found throughout the U.S. (such as AMC theaters).

My dad left China even though he was the son of the political elite because he didn't like the culture at all. Immigrated to Canada, founded his company, sold it to some poo-in-the-loos and know is happily living out his retirement in Arizona playing golf all day and collecting guns.
My mom left Japan because she hated the culture too, but now all she wants to do is return to Japan. The difference is she never held a job in the west.
