Confederate Battle flag is far from a racist symbol. You'll see blacks in the south openly wear its design and understand the history behind it, that thousands of white men died, sometimes alongside black slaves, in a war that ended slavery.
That woman lived in Nazi Germany and did not like that very much. It's one reason why she's here now. She claims to have been making a political statement on free speech, pointing out how in Germany she'd go to jail for that but here we have the First Amendment. she wasn't advocating genocide.

Well I'm not really sure that many white supremacists would really consider themselves as being represented by the Republican party. It's a bit simplistic to say they are both right-wing.
