He's a controlled opposition establishment plant meant to corral the tea party voters, his wife works for Goldman Sachs, he took multiple loans from banks which he didn't disclose because he was trying to preserve his "outsider" image. He's funded by the same people as Hillary Clinton and at the end of the day there will be no major reforms while he is president.
Also I'm almost certain the affair rumors are true and if we nominate him the media will start covering them in earnest allowing Shillary to coast to the White House. At the end of the day he's only more "electable" than Trump for the same reason Bernie is more "electable" than Hillary, the majority of the voters don't know anything about him and the media is deliberately avoiding negative stories on him right now to try and stop Trump.
