Was a liberal, believed the media. Then I saw with my own eyes the lies and distortion when the Zimmerman trial happened, in real time.

It was just too much. I began fact checking news. Even simple shit was able to be debunked. The migrant stats was there to download from the statistics bureau in Sweden and the EU. 75% men, all the media showed were women and kids.
It's all lies, every single day.

I came to /pol/ with a belief that globalization was and rightly should be the eventual destiny of humanity but my pessimism for humans made me believe that the world was not ready for globalization for at least 50-100 years. After coming to /pol/, I am more confident that the world is not ready for globalization.
Just look at the EU. What was supposed to be the greatest project in European history - to get European nations to cooperate economically and politically have proven itself to be impotent and finds itself on its knees even though European nations and their populations are among the wealthiest, democratic and intelligent.
We just aren't ready yet.
