the thing is that a lot of the people who get settled in the villages dont want to stay there and leave for the cities again, especially in east Germany. The real shady people gather in the cities while the countryside often has only families left, the fighting age males leave for the cities after some weeks of boredom and burglary

Our minister of interior basically admitted that we only get fewer refugees because of Austria following Orbans example and sending the army to the border, not because of the deal with Erdogan. Merkel however will always say its because of her brave policy
