I see much discussion on here about British politics and races that seems to forget our history goes back MUCH further than Empire. This Island has been contested, remade, shared and invaded over and over for >3000 years by Celts, Jutes, Romans, Angles, Saxons, Britons, Normans, Pagans, Christians, Jews and Muslims.
For the last 1000 years we’ve been ruled by an unbroken Monarchy starting with William the Conqueror of Normandy (Normans = North-men = Scandinavians).
In the last 200 years democracy has taken over the Monarchy and we’ve been effectively ruled by Anglos and Jews. This has led to the breakup of said Empire and ultimately weakened us to Islamists and the SJWing feminising left. Hence, Britain is now a cucked country with effectively no free speech (we’re conditioned not to offend anyone) and our leaders are corrupt, self-serving and unrepresentative. We have the highest teen pregnancy rate in Europe, one of the highest alcoholism rates and our under 30s are fucked.
Who will fill the power vacuum created when Western Civilisation falls as Rome did? We’re seeing the fractures already, the only question is how long it will take.
Personally I feel no particular affiliation with the modern British political structure. None of the politicians represent me or my people. The British Empire wasn’t “mine”, it belonged to the Aristocracy (Normans/Anglos).

Yeah I was taught this land of immigrants shite too at school. Its bullshit of course. All evidence points to the British people being mostly descended from the first settlers to these Isles (call them the Britons if you will). They would have spoken proto Celtic possibly. This branched into Brythonic and Goidelic later. Of all the invasions, only the Anglo-Saxon had significant impact. Their impact is strongest on the east of England. But it's thought they replaced at most the top 20-30% of society in those areas, mostly intermixing with the Britons. Thie impact was highlycultural. The next invasion to have impact was the Viking, highly concentrated in certain areas. The Roman and Norman invasion had minimal impact.

Normandy was named for the North men true enough, but by the time of Williams invasion the people were essentially French. And remember, Englands involvement with France isnt just concerned with the Normans. Through the whole of the Plantagenet era the ruling classes would have been French and the Kings lands in France were much more wealthy and populous
