Women travelling on a train are not usually looking for a potential male partner, so they'd have no problem with having cleaner, female-only carriages, and leaving men to have cramped carriages
If the idea of female-only carriages in a 100% ethnically homogenous society seems amenable and non-controversial, women will go with it, even if it only benefits them and makes life harder for men
