Eh. My parents had little to do with my political views. Politics wasn't a big issue in my family and I was conservative early one. I voted for GWB back in 2000.
That said, I ended up studying economics on my own (not college) and came to the realization that Austrian theory was bull since there is no such thing as rational actors and its not based on scientific observation.
That said, I'm more of a state capitalist than socialist so I guess I support the left, because conservatives just have economics wrong.
